West Ham denied penalty for Lewis-Potter's hold on Souček

Saturday, 2 May 2026 · 2025-26 · —

What happened

Keane Lewis-Potter held Tomáš Souček in what the KMI panel called "a clear non-footballing action which impacted the West Ham player's movement". The panel said VAR Tony Harrington should have intervened. It also split 3-2 that West Ham should have had a second penalty for Yarmolyuk's challenge on Pablo, but that one was not a VAR error.
